Redknapp reasons Backup van der Vaart

LONDON - Tottenham Hotspur coach Harry Redknapp feels has made the difficult decision to not put Rafael van der Vaart as the core team when a 3-0 win over Bolton. Despite that Redknapp had a reason behind his decision.

Redknapp revealed that the midfielder was serangnya it had felt disappointed with the decision Redknapp. Even so, the Dutch international players are familiar with the reasons Redknapp.

"He's obviously disappointed, but he could accept it. It was a difficult decision. I just feel a little man (Defoe) was on fire, so I wear it, "Redknapp said as quoted by Goal, Tuesday (12/06/2011).

"I like Rafa, he is a great player, a great professional, but he continued to get the (injury) hamstring. You must be careful that he does not tear (the injury) so that we could lose him for six weeks, "he said.

Rafael van der Vaart is often often hit by a hamstring injury since the defense of Real Madrid. Recurrent injury is brought when joining the Lilywhites, thus making Redknapp cautious in lowering the midfielder who has scored 28 goals for Spurs in the Premier League.
