No Juve Marchisio Will Sell

Turin - Juventus has rejected speculation that they would sell Claudio Marchisio in the summer transfer window next year. In fact confirms the Bianconeri will never sell this 25-year-old midfielder to any club.

Italian international has become one of the best players Old Lady so far this season and is the main reason why they are top of Serie A.

"We never thought to sell Marchisio," said Juventus general director Beppe Marotta told La Domenica Sportiva as reported by Football-Italy, Monday (05/12/2011).

"He is a complete player, a player who can combine quantity with quality. He's one of the top players in Europe right now," he said.

Marchisio also joined Alessandro Matri as the top scorer in Serie A Juventus, which stood at each of six goals from 12 matches. Latest goals came at the weekend when Juventus beat Cesena 2-0.

"We knew that we had to collect the victory," said Marotta. "And every game, we had to bring home three points needed," he continued.

The former Sampdoria officials also praised the work of new coach Antonio Conte. According to him, the former Juve captain who brought Siena last season's promotion has a great talent.

"Conte has talent, he has been getting the best value from our players, he gave them affection for the club and implemented with good performance in the field," he said.
