Redknapp Wants Nicolas Anelka

LONDON - Tottenham Hotspur coach Harry Redknapp admitted that he was keen to bring in Chelsea's Nicolas Anelka to White Hart Lane at the end of this season.

As reported by The Guardian, Thursday (12/01/2011) Redknapp sought to woo the contract with Chelsea Anelka will expire at the end of this season.

"I always liked him (Anelka). In my opinion, he is a fantastic footballer, "said Redknapp.

The former Portsmouth coach added he just wanted to get Anelka at the end of this season, not during the January transfer window. Because, right now she still has a player on loan from Manchester City, Emmanuel Adebayor.
