Dalglish: Liverpool should win

LIVERPOOL - Liverpool must settle for 1-1 draw against Manchester City. Coach Kenny Dalglish says the Reds should have won the match at Anfield last night.

The hosts which had been left behind through goals by Vincent Kompany nested at minute 31. But two minutes later, Joleon Lescott's own goal could be an equalizer for 1-1.

Liverpool's chances to win big enough, after the visitors had to play with 10 players, following the release of Mario Balotelli, 18 minutes after entering the second half.

Unfortunately, the brilliant rescue carried out Joe Hart, was able to prevent the City from the defeat of the season premiere. "City are starting the game better than us, but I think we look more brilliant until the end of the game," said Dalglish.

"I think we were also lucky enough to get the equalizing goal position very quickly. It keeps the spirit of the players maintained. However, when you see the attitude of the players left behind, they want to continue to attack and tried to rise," he continued.

"My foster children look so fantastic. However, I do not think they deserve this draw. I think the players deserve to get three points and we could just get it with ease, but did not," he said quoted by Sky Sports on Monday (28/11 / 2011).
