Borrow Milan Maxi Lopez

Maxi Lopez is the main target of the Rossoneri to replace Antonio Cassano, not Carlos Tevez.

AC Milan and Catania signed a loan deal for striker Maxi Lopez within six months.

Sky Sport has long preached the two clubs reached a verbal agreement, but Milan stall signing up to ten days for trying to get Carlos Tevez from Manchester City.

In fact, Maxi Lopez is the main target of the Rossoneri to replace Antonio Cassano - who had recently undergone heart surgery.

Maxi Lopez, now 27, is the former River Plate and Barcelona. After defending Barca, he had played with Real Mallorca, FC Moscow and Gremio.

He arrived in Catania in 2010, and became a regular player. Maxi Lopex also did not hide his desire to wear the Rossoneri shirt, and play with Zlatan Ibrahimovic to win the Champions League.

Now, Maxi Lopez stayed packed his belongings. He will travel to San Siro after Christmas. Carlos Tevez might be going to lament the failure to escape from Eastland in the near future.
