Rome to face Juventus in the quarterfinals

 
ROME - AS Roma finally secured their place in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals after beating Fiorentina with a score of 3-0 at the Stadium Olimpiaco, Thursday (12/1/2012) early morning hrs. With this win Juventus AS Roma will meet the first qualifying for the quarterfinals.

In a match that is fierce enough, I Lupi-nickname Rome had found it difficult to break into the Fiorentina goal and both teams were forced to play without a goal during the first half.

Rome had just three goals in the second half created by Erik Lamela dwigol contributed one goal and Fabio Borini. Roma managed to break the deadlock on 53 minutes through goals Lamela utilizing sweet operand of Francesco Totti.

Interval of three minutes of the first goal, scored his second Lamela back after completing the heat in the goal mouth which is guarded by La Viola Murara Neto. Roma goal feast was closed by a goal from Boroni in the 75th minute. Rome created the ultimate goal of utilizing Borini foot corner Neto.

This makes the Roma a 3-0 victory met with the Old Lady in the quarter-finals. Juve himself became the first team to qualify for the quarter-finals by beating Bologna in December 2011 then.
