Modric Confused Face Transfer Rumors

LONDON - Luka Modric's move from Tottenham Hotspur to be one of the hot topics in the transfer market this summer. Spurs coach Harry Redknapp has revealed that his team were hit by confusion confront these rumors.
Modric is rumored to want to leave White Hart Lane and moved to Great West London, Chelsea. Although today, Croatian international midfielder still leaves a 12-month contract period of six years with the Spurs.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has repeatedly insisted his club will not let Modric at any price. Proven three weeks ago, the Lilywhites rejected Chelsea's bid who filed a dowry worth 22 million pounds.
Now, Redknapp threw the latest developments about Modric. The coach had come face to face with 25 years old midfielder at Spurs training center, on Thursday (07/07/2011) morning local time.
"He (Modric) happy, but a little confused right now. Several teams wanted it, but we want him to stay here and I want to defend it, "said Redknapp told Sky Sports News.
"He likes to play here. Today is a difficult moment for him and I understand where he came from. We can not delude ourselves. He signed a contract here, we are pleased with his presence and we want him here, "said coach 64 years.
"We do not want to sell our best players. He's a special player for us. We want him here and we need it, "said Redknapp, as quoted from Football365 Friday (07/08/2011).
