Next season, Arsenal's Nasri Ready Loss

After refusing to release Samir Nasir in the transfer market this summer, Arsenal are reportedly ready to risk losing Nasri as a player a free transfer next summer.
French international contract with the Gunners are new to expire at the end of the 2011/12 season, but Arsenal have expressed their desire to tie up Nasri with long-term contract at the Emirates.
Although he was offered a contract extension recently, but the 24-year-old attacking midfielder is not willing to sign a new contract that has been offered by the club.
Lack of champion winning the title at the Emirates, is believed to be the reason for Nasri to mempertimbangkn option to leave Arsenal. Nasri believes if move to another club could benefit his career in the future.
But some time ago, The Sun reported that the Gunners midfielder is willing to look back his contract at Ashburton Grove and intend to leave as a free transfer in the summer of next year.
Even so, insists Arsenal will try every effort to keep one of these valuable assets in order to remain at the Emirates and did not want to release the former Marseille player is to their rivals in the arena of the Premier League.
Duo giants Manchester United and City, reportedly eager to woo Nasri, where both clubs are willing poured funds big enough to get the young French players during the opening of the transfer window this summer.
"There is a possibility we may lose Nasri on a free transfer, but we are prepared to take the risk," said Arsenal's CEO, Peter Hill-Wood, as quoted by Sky Sports.
In addition to Hill-Wood, Arsenal's board of directors were also supports the decision of manager Arsene Wenger who want to keep their key players at the club based in North London.
"I plan to keep Nasri for one more year, although we are at risk will lose it without getting anything," said Wenger.
"I think the board of directors agreed with my decision, because this is more to a technical decision. Our goal is to win the championship, and we need great players to do that," he concluded.
