Kuyt: Liverpool More Promising!

SINGAPORE - It could lead Liverpool to finish in sixth place last season, was not a happy outcome for Dirk Kuyt. Naturally, after two consecutive seasons Liverpool knocked out of the big four.

Whereas in the 2008-2009 season, the Reds finished in the runner-up behind Manchester United with a difference of four points. (United 90, Liverpool 86). Unfortunately, the situation changed drastically in the next season. Kuyt cs stumbled in mid-table and end the campaign in sixth position.

A number of issues has been blamed Liverpool convolute be a culprit of failure. Starting from the departure of a number of pillars such as Xabi Alonso and Mascherano, and coach Rafael Benitez. Not to mention the heat issue of ownership, making Anfield Gank battered.

Hope when Roy Hodgson was sticking forward as a successor to Rafa Benitez, but the fact Liverpool had slipped into the abyss of degradation at the beginning of the season, so fans are noisy demands Hodgson immediately leave. His position was later replaced by Kenny Dalglish. Under Kenny, Gerrard et al began to rise even though the end can only improve the ranking of achievement of the previous season.

King Kenny initiate steps in the Premier League defeat of Blackpool 2-1 on January 13 and close the campaign Liverpool from 2010 to 2011 also with a 1-0 defeat of Aston Villa. But at least his record is better than Hodgson. He chalked 10 victories and the remaining five defeats and three draws. Of the 20 games through which Hodgson, Liverpool could only snatch a perfect points seven times. The remaining nine defeats and four draws.

Bright spot resurgence of the Reds next season also brought three recruits Wednesday, midfielder Charlie Adam (Blackpool), Jordan Anderson (Sunderland) and winger Stewart Downing (Aston Villa). This new situation brings a positive aura to Kuyt believes Liverpool's future brighter.

"The way we played, especially in the second half of the season, is promising ... A few new players come and this is very positive that everybody wants to work harder on appeal last season," said Kuyt.
