City off to Jo Internacional

After about six years go abroad in Europe, Joao Alves de Assis Silva returned home to Brazil. The attacker who was familiarly called Jo is leaving Manchester City and join Internacional. Similarly, the site of Manchester City was released immediately.

Jo is the first player to come to Eastlands since the City acquired Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan on August 2008. He was recruited as manager, Mark Hughes, from CSKA Moscow for a fee amounting to 18 million pounds sterling (the most expensive purchase of City time).

Appear very promising with CSKA (30 goals in 53 games), the light dimmed in the City kebintangan Jo. As a result, only half a season later, he was loaned to Everton. In early 2010, he again underwent a period of "exile" in Galatasaray.

Last season, Jo returned to the City. Although appearing quite nicely in preseason, but he remains unable to compete with Carlos Tevez, Mario Balotelli, and Edin Dzeko.

Overall, Jo appeared 41 times for City in all competitions with a contribution of six goals.
