Last season, Arshavin scored 10 goals in all competitions that served the Gunners. Leningrad-born players now want to repeat this achievement last season and added five goals. He was also optimistic the steps his team for next season because he felt his team stronger.
"My target is simple, I will score a total of 15 goals. I think we (Arsenal) will continue to grow stronger, "said Arshavin Goal quoted on Thursday (28/07/2011).
"I especially think of our work in the set piece, both offense and defense will get better. We also play press, if we do well, I am sure you will see the development team, "he added.
This weekend the Gunners will face a big celebration at home. Team logo of this gun will start with Emirates Cup tournament final game against Boca Juniors and the New York Red Bulls. For the match Arshavin is certainly necessary for the preparation of his team.
"It would be a good weekend, this is the first time many fans see us this summer and this is tournament that I enjoy. We have two games against strong teams and to pre-season competition proper, "he concluded.
