MU would Busy Summer

Manchester - Manchester United have and will lose some important players this season. Consequently, the 'Red Devils' move also seems to be busy in the transfer market this summer.

Earlier this year, Manchester United lost Gary Neville, who retired. At the end of the season, goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar was certain to be hanging up his boots. MU began looking for players whom they would recruit for next season.

"We worked very hard over the last 12 months to find a position where we had to fill, identify the players that we want and working on it," said CEO David Gill at Manchester United official club website.

"Gary is retired, Edwin will. We have much work to find a replacement Edwin. I think we're getting there," added Gill.

In addition, the MU also still have to wait for Paul Scholes's decision whether he will also retire or continue playing. Scholes is a vital position in midfield requires the functional equivalent.

"There are other areas we should also remember Paul's cap still has not determined what he would do," Gill straightforward.

"So, we thought the summer would be more busy than usual, but that's good. We got a lot of noise to bring new players and we look forward to a busy summer and enjoy it," he asserted
