Raul hails Kans Back to Spain National Team

Berlin - It was almost five years since the last time Raul Spanish national team uniforms. Now he is faced with the opportunity to re-defend 'Team Matador' and Raul was greeted warmly.

Raul last appearance in the national team level was in 2006. But the appearance of 33-year striker with the Schalke back to uncover opportunities for him.

"Of course he could come back, the situation is similar with other players. Through his personality, Raul is a positive example for the national team. Playing overseas is a big advantage for our football," said Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque told journalists in his country.

Commenting on the chances of returning to the squad, as testimony Del Bosque, Raul also give a positive response. He claimed ready to return to the national team if it is invoked.

"He (Del Bosque) is a Spanish coach and he chose the squad. I would never dismiss the chances of it (back to the national team)," Raul straightforward in the AFP.

Having moved from Real Madrid last summer, Raul did appear okay for Schalke which he successfully delivered to the Champions League semi-final. Total of 19 goals he also printed in all competitions with the German club
