Dawson Expect Regular Position on Three Lions squad

Tottenham Hotspur central defender, Michael Dawson, hoping to be back competing at international level with the English national team as a regular after being injured while defending the Three Lions.

Spurs vice captain seemed to be able to become a regular player Three Lions to finally get injured in a qualifying match for Euro 2012 deal with Bulgaria that led to Dawson had to rest for three months.

Dawson rebounded from the injury during the New Year and finally appeared back when the Three Lions to face Denmark and Wales. However, Dawson understand correctly that if he returned to have problems, either because of injury or other problems, he could lose his position as many other British defender who has the qualities to fill its place.

"There is another top class defender in this country are able to perform well," Dawson said as reported by Goal.com. "You can see Joleon (Lescott), Jags (Phil Jagielka), Gary Cahill. who all play well," said the Spurs defender.

While acknowledging the many quality players in the squad for Fabio Capello in his place, but the 27-year-old player was confident of being able to compete and get a position in the first team the Three Lions.

"As an individual, you have to concentrate to play well and hope to be in the squad to face Switzerland in the game. I hope I look good enough in the face of Wales to claim my position," said Dawson.

For a while, the Three Lions are in the top of Euro 2012 qualifying Group G with 10 points from four games, the same number of points with Montenegro that stalking in the second position. England are top of the standings with a superior goal difference and both of them to score goals
