City would be deepened squad

With a squad that is owned, Manchester City quite successful this season. However, because they will compete in the Champions League next season, The Citizens also may be back to bring new ammunition.

Under the command of Roberto Mancini, the City successfully end the fasting title 35 years by winning the FA Cup trophy. They also managed to qualify for the Champions League for the first time.

Although already a squad full of star players, Mancini feels his squad is not deep enough to deal with next season. The reason, his club will face a big challenge, not just in the Premier League, but also in the Champions League.

"This year I think we have to take the Spurs as an example. Tottenham play in the Champions League until the quarter-finals in the Premier League and they only ranked fifth, "Mancini said in the Daily Mail.

"It's hard if you do not have a big squad, which allow you to replace six or seven players for each game,"added the Italian man.

"We have a good team because we have a young team. We bought Mario Balotelli, Edin Dzeko. Only one of the older players. Yaya Toure 28 years, "he said.

"The other players are also young, as Jerome Boateng. All of these players can develop. For this reason, I am optimistic with this project, "sure Mancini.

"If necessary, we can buy other good players. We can be a team that played together for a long time, "he added.

Nevertheless, the possibility of players who will come to Eastlands in the next transfer window there are not too many.

"I do not think there will be a big change, just tinkering with the squad. We have compiled a group whose average age 24-25 years, "said football administrator City, Brian Marwood.

"We believe there are four good years with this group, which still will grow again. We are very interested in the prospect that, "said Marwood.
