Handshake Deny Eto'o, Song Fined

Yaounde - Bara feud between Samuel Eto'o and Aleksandre Song unflagging since the World Cup in 2010 and then forced the Cameroon Football Federation (CFA) to intervene.

Cause, Song refused to shake hands with Inter Milan's striker, so that the Federation decided fined USD 2.159.Dalam hearing, the Federation had also threatened sanctions against Eto'o and Tottenham defender Benoit Assou Ekotto for disciplinary reasons.

Reuters reported, Song and Samuel Eto'o of Cameroon again met while preparing to face Senegal in the African Nations Cup qualifier earlier this month. On that occasion Song refused to shake hands as a sign of reconciliation with Eto'o.

The presence of Song is the first time since the 2010 World Cup in South Africa where he was involved in a dispute with Samuel Eto'o thus making the whole game is not played in Cameroon.

Unlike the Song, Eto'o is not convicted because of absences in practice and showed no disciplinary action during the match against Senegal, where he clashed with coach Javier Clemente since replaced.

While Assou Ekotto just get an official reprimand for absences in a match without giving any explanation. Match that took place June 4 that eventually end in a draw.
