Knee injury, sidelined Afellay Over Six Months

Ibrahim Afellay became the last player that led Barcelona to the hospital after receiving serious injuries in the knee and will likely lose most matches this season.

Barcelona finally had to accept bad news from the treatment room the players, after Afellay certainly will not be able to take part in the Barca squad since suffered a serious knee injury which required him to rest for six months.

Dutch international players are already undergoing treatment for several weeks with a hamstring injury smothering. And now, Afellay was forced to step aside for six months after the training session, he suffered a torn ligament injury in the left front knee.

As reported by Goal, 25-year-old player who joined the Catalan giants last January, will enter the operating room to repair the muscle tissue to injury on Friday (23 / 9), local time.

Afellay become the third Barcelona player who suffered serious injuries, where he was joined by Andres Iniesta and also Alexis Sanchez who have first ditepikan for several weeks. Afellay new possibilities can join Barca squad in April next year.
