During Still Okay, Lampard Reluctant Retirement

LONDON - Although age has reached 33 years, Frank Lampard believes he is still able to pursue a career in football. Chelsea midfielder said it would continue a career when his physical condition and still support the game is still good.

Lampard seems to believe in the capacity themselves to live a career in soccer. While not denying that he was growing, but the man born in London was reluctant to retire as long as the condition and its performance has not declined.

"You look at the contract and how long you have to go and I always want to extend it (the contract) as long as I am fit enough and good enough to work (as a footballer)," said Lampard as disitat of Goal, Friday (5/8/2011 )

Midfielder who is the player guided West Ham United's academy is to understand the reasons for the football players who chose to retire. He took the example of the decisions taken by Paul Scholes and Gary Neville and feel have the same mindset with Ryan Giggs.

"I understand (the decision) Paul Scholes and Gary Neville as they feel their time is over, they are not happy as usual or they no longer play a lot, and they took that decision," he added.

"But I am always in the right mindset, I believe that Ryan Giggs may also like that, that retirement is still a long time and we love and feel fortunate to be able to do what we do so the longer (retired) the better," he concluded.
