Evra: United Must Be alert to face Schalke

Patrice Evra of Manchester United's hopes remain vigilant in the face of the team that gave a surprise in the Champions League this season, Schalke 04.

The Red Devils will travel to Germany in the first leg Champions League semi-final on Wednesday (27 / 3) early morning hrs. Sir Alex Ferguson's squad have a bad experience last season when they face the German representative in the Champions League quarter-finals. United was forced to step stopped after they defeated Bayern Munich.

Now, they return to face representatives of other Bundesliga, Schalke at a very crucial stage. The team is now strengthened the former Real Madrid icon Raul Gonzalez to qualify for the semi-finals after they get rid of defending champion Inter Milan 7-3 on aggregate.

"We knew there would be easy to face Schalke. The way they beat the defending champions, Inter Milan proves it," said Evra.

"We remember what happened in the face of Germany's deputy last season and we beat Bayern Munich. We will respect every team. We have great respect for Schalke."
