Allegri: Four Points Again!

Massimiliano Allegri believes AC Milan was on the verge of winning the Serie A and the claim that four more points will make them win the Scudetto for the first time since 2004.

With the advantage of eight points from city rivals Inter Milan, who came in second place, and also superior record head-to-head with the Nerazzurri, Milan won the Scudetto and a big chance it could be determined this weekend when Milan beat Bologna at the San Siro on Sunday (fifth), and Inter fail to beat Cesena day before.

Allegri well aware that this weekend is still difficult for Milan to ensure the Scudetto this season belonged to them. However, the coach added that with four points again, the Rossoneri could have claimed the last title they received in 2004.

"Maybe this week is not enough, but we think ought only to reach the four points we can win the title," Allegri said on Sky Italia.

Besides waiting for the Scudetto title would be theirs, Milan also has the possibility of win two domestic championships because they still participate in the Coppa Italia semifinals, where they still will undergo a second leg to face Palermo.

Although in the first leg Milan held 2-2 by Palermo, Allegri sure I can qualify for the finals to repeat their success in the competition which they seized last in 2003. "There is also the Italian Cup semi-final to be played, so we will try to achieve both these objectives, where it all is paramount,"said the coach.
