MILAN - Coach Gian Piero Gasperini did not want to lose midfielder Sneijder Wesyley. In fact, the architect of Inter Milan Tuesday, Sneijder believes it will remain at the Giuseppe Meazza in the next season.
Currently, a number of big clubs really want to get a Dutch international midfielder. They are a trio of Premier League clubs: Chelsea and Manchester duo, reportedly attracted to woo Sneijder.
But Gasperini try to ensure the future of the player's mainstay. Leonardo Araujo successor was confirmed, the former Real Madrid star would not leave the Giuseppe Meazza, at least in the transfer market this June.
"It's hard to guess what is wanted by Sneijder, but the club will fight hard to maintain it," said Gasperini told reporters at a news conference debut as coach of Inter.
"I do not need to doubt his ability as a great player Sneijder. However, it is very difficult to know what will happen in the transfer market in the next 50 days. For, Inter want to become stronger again," said former Genoese architect.
As is known, Inter had lost striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic mainstay in two years ago. In fact, Gasperini in no way concerned with the situation which was struck Sneijder at the moment.
