William Gallas was happy with his decision to join Tottenham in the transfer market last summer, despite his move from Arsenal was inviting controversy.
"Do I consider retirement? No, I want to play. There's no way I would give up. I feel fine and I know I can continue the pace," said Gallas told Hotspur Magazine.
"I then met with Harry Redknapp and we talked about the possibilities that exist. The advantage is that I have Chelsea and Arsenal."
"One other consideration is how fans will react. Maybe some people do not want me to play for Spurs but I told Harry that I wanted to play and he will not be disappointed, in the end he agreed. "
"The evidence comes with the new contract because I have shows that I have a good season. Now I'll be back ready for every new season is an important season for me. "
