Moratti regrets tag of Villas-Boas

MILAN - Massimo Moratti admitted interest in recruiting FC Porto coach Andre Villas-Boas. However, the club president deeply regrets the official price in the contract clause of the Portuguese youth coaches.

Previously, Inter's sporting director Marco Branca has expressed objection to the value specified in the contract Villas-Boas, ie 15 million euros. Porto chairman Pinto da Costa is also asserted, the price is already set in stone.

In fact, Villas-Boas is one of the Nerazzurri last allenatore strong candidate, while former national team coach Marcelo Bielsa Argentina, Sinisa Mihajlovic and Fiorentina allenatore England coach Fabio Capello.

Moratti is already firmly settled on Villas-Boas, as the successor Leonardo Araujo, who chose to leave and join Paris St. Germain as sporting director. No wonder if the president deplored the transfer value that does not fit the budget.

"We are interested in recruiting Villas-Boas, but we do not intend to pay clause of his contract," said Moratti. "We still have time to make choices," he said, as reported by Sky Sports on Monday (6/20/2011).
