Bologna Albano Guaraldi As President Appoints New Club


Bologna has been appointed as president Albano Guaraldi latest club and a turnover for the fifth time within the last ten months. Guaraldi will be accompanied by Maurizio Setti as his deputy.

The club held a board meeting on Wednesday (6 / 4) afternoon where the previous club president, Marco Pavignani, handed his resignation letter. Pavignani a temporary replacement officer elected in mid-January.

Already several times in the club this season on the brink of bankruptcy and their value deducted three league points in Serie A because of financial irregularities.
  
A statement on the club's official website, as quoted by football-italy, revealed the decision.

"After a board meeting all afternoon, Albano Guaraldi was nominated as president of Bologna Fc 1909 and Maurizio Setti as his deputy."

"All the club's board of directors and advisors to thank Marco Pavignani for the whole time after he decided to quit to ensure the future of the club, where it shows his love for the club."
