"Stop Messi's Crazy Idea"

BUENOS AIRES - Colombia will face tough opponents, Argentina, in the second match of Copa America Group A preliminary, tomorrow. Action Lionel Messi would be a separate concern for Colombian rearguard.

Although not shown the best ability in the first game against Bolivia, Messi is still considered a big threat for the opponent. However, Colombian coach Hernan Gomez admitted he would order his troops to man-to-man marking to the Messiah.

Gomez even just make a few changes from the previous lineup successfully subdue Costa Rica 1-0. Only midfielder Carlos Sanchez, who will perform as a starter in place of Gustavo Boliva.

"We will waste a lot of energy trying to stop him (Messi) and it will make us unable to do their best," said Gomez.

"I've talked to teams about what we should do to perform better. If I look at Argentina and think how to stop Messi, that means crazy, "he continued, as reported by Goal, on Wednesday (07/06/2011).

Currently Colombia topped Group A standings, thanks to a 1-0 win over Costa Rica. While Argentina, who acted as host, in second position with a value of one counter Bolivia 1-1 draw.
