Van Persie: That Penalty!

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie, claiming his team really deserved 1-0 victory over Manchester United on Sunday (1 / 5) night local time, instead he claimed his team should have won 2-0 because Nemanja Vidic handball penalty rewarded appropriately.

The incident in question Van Persie is handsball Vidic at minute 31. At that time the Serbian defender was banish from Theo Walcott's cross with his hand in the forbidden box.

"At first (the referee) not sure (whether handsball), but when I asked again after the first round was over, he declared it was not a penalty. And I believe it is a penalty when he looked back he repeated impressions," said the Dutch striker, as Goal quoted.

In response to the appearance of his colleagues on the game, Van Persie believes Arsenal deserve the full amount. Instead of nothing, according to Van Persie, his colleagues have shown what it means to be an Arsenal player in the game which was exciting enough.

"I think we played better today and we wanted it more. In the end this is a fair result. It's all about pride and (support) is very big fan. It all depends on us and how we show dignity and pride of this club. Fortunately we can show that and I'm happy, "concludes Van Persie.
