Tottenham midfielder, Luka Modric, insists that his team-mates will survive and no one interested to leave, although they failed to qualify for competing in the Champions League next season.
Spurs are amazingly capable of stepping up to the Champions League quarter-finals this season and dealing with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
While in the Premier League, the North London club are trailing Manchester City to compete for rank four standings, the last quota for competing in the Champions League next season.
Ranked fourth in the hunt for the league, a lot of speculation that develops and stated that Spurs would fail to qualify for the biggest football competition in Europe next season, which makes the star players such as Luka Modric and Spurs winger Gareth Bale, wants to leave to a big club which appeared in the Champions League.
"I think we will not split with rumors lately, because the players have a long term contract with a club and really enjoyed playing here," said Modric was quoted as Dailymail.
"We got a lot of lessons this season and I think we can do even better if we returned to qualify for competing in the Champions League next season, because we've grown better," he added.
"We've shown that we can compete with great teams like AC Milan and Inter Milan, and I think we have the right to be considered as one of the biggest clubs in the European sphere," he added.
Modric accept the fact that the Spurs need a miracle to reverse the condition in the face of Real Madrid at White Hart Lane, but players from 25-year-old Croatian is not fully expressed disappointment.
"We came and competed in the Champions League competition for the chance to become one of the best teams in Europe, and it can be achieved if we stay together, and I'm sure we can make it happen," said Modric.
Facing Real Madrid, Spurs suffered a major defeat 4-0 at the first leg Champions League quarter-finals. And in the second leg will be held at White Hart Lane, Modric believes Tottenham will try to reverse the situation because benefits cage fight, although they look impossible.
"There is a high enough confidence from his teammates while in the locker room. We believe and confident enough to make a miracle, although frankly it would be very heavy because of Madrid's full of great players," said Modric.
"But, although we failed to qualify for the next round, we want to enjoy the game, because I believe this team has a bright future," he concluded.
