Evra admits Nearly Joined Inter

Manchester United defender, Patrice Evra, said if the Nerazzurri want to bring it at the time of opening of the transfer window last summer.

French defender is saying that the Nerazzurri have expressed an interest to get the service last summer, but United are reluctant to release it to the Giuseppe Meazza.

"I agreed a four-year contract with the club, and anyone who wants my services, should be through the office of Sir Alex Ferguson and immediately do a deal with him," said 29-year-old defender told Sky Sports.

"Inter are very interested in me a year ago, as with Real Madrid. With Inter, there have been serious talks, but United did not want to release me," he added.

Evra sure if the Nerazzurri can score two goals early in the Champions League Champion in the face of Schlake, they have a chance to advance to the semifinals.

"Inter have no burden at all, just as someone who never could say no in football," he said. "If they scored two quick goals early in the match, Schalke will feel fear."

"But this German club did a very fantastic in Milan, and we were all quite shocked because they can score five goals," he concluded.
